Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
What is the most important thing you remember about MLK and why? (6-8 sentences)

The last thing that i remembered about Martin Luther King Jr. was his "I Have a Dream" speech. It was a very inspiring speech and that led to no more segregation.
Actions speak louder than words. What you do represents yourself. For example, I give back to my community and that represents me as a helping and caring person. As of Martin Luther King, he represented himself good enough to have a day to honor him. Martin Luther King was the reason for bringing everyone together no matter what skin color you are. The most important thing I remember about Martin Luther king is his "I Had A Dream" speech. His inspiring words stop segregation.
We all know that MlK is a very important man and he will always be remembered.The most important thing that i remembered about MLK is that he was a fighter.He stood in front of millions and said that powerful speech.He did what he could to stop sergation.Martin Luther King Jr. has inspired every one in there own way.
The last thing I remember about Martin Luther King. Is that he got shot but before he got shot, he gave the " I Have a Dream" speech.which inspired whites and blacks to like each other
Why Martin Luther King Jr. is important to me because, he is a great person to all black people.He fought for justice and many rights.He did what he had to do for black people.
Everyone at times are able to stand up against something that shouldn't be. For example, Martian Luther King,Jr stood up against the segregation between whites and blacks.He did this by forming boycotts like the one in Montgomery Alabama. He also stopped this by forming marches like the one he did in Washington D.C.Plus he also have important powerful speeches like his great "I Have a Dream" speech on the Lincoln Memorial steps.Martin Luther King,Jr was not only a hero, but a icon to every person that was around in his period of time and to now 41 years later he still is and even more.
The most important thing I remember about MLK is that he brought people together. He brought blacks and whites together. He fought with non-violence. When someone wanted to fight back with the whites, MLK helps him/her remember that they fight with their mind and words. Not with violence.
there are many things that i have to think about when the name martin Luther king Jr. like minister, leader, a hero, and a savior. but his death came to soon why because some one was so jealous. of all that he did the whole world was on his side. against one insane man filled with power in the brain. and he thought that he was losing all his power. that is what i say about docter.king.
Martin had a unique perspective. Dr. Martin king junior, was killed by a gun in a time of segregation and discrimination. Before such murder came to pass, he thought contrarily in a time of hostility and hatred. Even when Martin saw that home was on fire, his friends and neighbors, wanted to respond with violence. Martin did not want to be influenced, to attack others, instead he promoted peace.
They're are many memorable things that MLK did in his life time all of them have to do with making the world a better place. One of the things I remember the most is when he got arrested for boycotting the bus company. Another thing is making the I have a dream speech that ended a lot of racism everywhere. He was also a man that has a lot of great history behind him for his courage and bravery to try and change the way people thought of each other. This is just the little things that he did in his life time. So i think MLK was important for many things
The dream that came true.There was this intellgence person that help blacks and whits together.Now some people say that he should have been our first black president.Other people say Obama is the person that made that dream to finally come true. the person i am talk about is the man behide the dream Martin Luther King Jr.MLK have done some great through his lifetime.He lead the million man march,he bring lot of people together,and he help make black people have the same rights as whites.

There are a lot of things I remember about his background history.One thing I remember is that he wanted to change the way that black and whites could be treated equally.for example, he wanted to change the way whites and blacks had to use different water fountains, and how whites got to sit in the front of the bus or wherever they wanted to.Then the blacks had to either give up a sit or sit in the way back.Another event I remember is when Martin Luther King made a speech to help the blacks get the same rights as the whites did.For example, they got to ride the bus and drink in the bars, and use public water fountains. While blacks had to stop taking the bus and walk to work or school.They couldn't drink in the bars with the rest of the whites.Martin Luther King was a great African man who wanted to change how the laws were going in the time of the segregation.He wanted to make a change in the way the african descent people didn't get treated equally.For many reasons why Iremembered a lot from his history background.
I have to agree with Thomas response. I say this because now 41 years later his speech has effected everyone into stop segregation and to unit as one.I also agree because this speech is the beginning of a new period of time.
MARTIN Luther King is one of the most inspiring black history characters.The most important thing I learned about MARTIN LUTHER KING is that he use to give speeches about people uniting together once and for all.Another important thing I learned about Martin Luther King is when he helped Rosa Parks when she was in jail.Another thing i remember is his famous I had a dream speech.That speech had a lot of inspiration it changed a lot of point of views. Martin Luther King is truly my and many other peoples hero.Martin Luther King is a black king.
I don't really know nothing about Martin Luther King Jr.I heard that he's a very supportive man and he live as a hero and died as a hero.In my perspective I think or I know that he's a generous and wonderful person.I would want to be like him because his personality is about to save the .US. citizens.He was a really good gentle man I heard.That's my speech about him.
Memories are the best parts of life and make times even more sad or even happy. Martin Luther king was and still is a hero Along with his heroic being, he was a leader. He did not do all that he did alone, he had some very strong people fight for our rights with him I believe. However the famous saying that Mr.king always spoke was, "I had a dream" Which shows that all we have to do is to fight(not phycicaly) but with words for what we believe. This is a great day.

One of the lines from the historical speech I Have A Dream Speech. The man that delivered this speech was Martin Luther King Jr. A man known all around the world. Born January 15, 1929 and died April 4, 1968. He was given the Nobel piece Prize in 1964.
