If i was to be put into a situation to be one of the white students that was protesting or just in general,i would find it hard to answer this question. Since most whites didn't really know about African Americans like Eison in "there i was in history". Thats what i would connect too,also he did make a bing deal about desegregation and others even if he said "i really didn't know about African Americans". Since theres alot of stereotypes that make people look at things differently.
Yes, those niggers are unacceptable. They only want to take our middle-class existence away from us, they cannot stand to see someone have something good. They have to take it away from us. Now we will all be looked at as the same, no difference, acceptance, and desegregated. WE ARE NOT EQUAL. Everyone look around man, WE ARE WHITE AND INFERIOR, there skin can't compare, their dirty musty black colored look people. UGH!! Their skin reminds me of dirty water. They come into our lives holding their heads up high like their dignity is way higher than the sky. Yes There is a reason why they cant attend ad the reason is b-cuz they are niggers and they don't deserve to have the same education as us, I mean they skin is dark and nasty personally they deserve to be working in our houses cleaning up my little sisters messes. Prespective 2: No there is no real reason why African Americans cant attend school with us I mean i wouldn't mind if they where in or class because i would like to see what they felt about history back in the day and so forth.

I think that there is. I mean think about it before they even came to Central High everything was all good. Then they came and look how the students are acting. And I have a feeling that their going to be more and more things like this happening.

I mean some people don't even know why they don't like the African American's they just go with the flow and follow the crowd. If I was to ask you(student 1), why you didn't like the blacks what would you say?

To be honest I really don't know. I have always thought that because my parents hated them it was my part to hate them to. I had always though that they did something so bad to out country and that's why we hated them.

See that's what I mean by 'following the crowd'. We need to really step back and think about what were doing here. I'm going to leave this question with you guys, how would you feel if everybody hated you with a passion and you didn't know why?

I don't really think there's any real reason why African Americans can't be able to attend school with us. We just don't like them because they are black and they are not like us.
WE DON'T WANT THEM AT OUR SCHOOL AND IF IT WAS UP TO ME I WOULD HAVE LET THEM IN THE SCHOOL.
Yes, There is they are not like us. They won't understand the work we are doing because they are slow and don't understand nothing. Also they will come to take over our school and it will bring all the white down.
If I pretended to be one of the white students at Central high the way I would answer the question. I would have said,: "they don't belong in our school because they are black and we are white. We don't want any Negroes attending our school, I would hardly be able to concentrate they can try to hurt us or something. I hardly know anything about about them, all I observed its that I seen how all our people were mad at them and telling them to go home. I expect that they are bad or something and I we should do the same thing. They know what their doing so we should just follow them."

I think they would probably be a little more wild.I say that because they are just high school students and from comparing the day, when the little rock 9 went to central high for the first days, alot of students was upset and wanted to attack them. Of course they would be offensive either way.

i will that i think that they should be allowed to attend school with us because. and i would also say that they better leave the black people alone or their would be some problems and if their is another riot in the school out of the school all the student will pay badly and that all i have to say students as a warning 1

Some of the reason that I think African American can't attend school is because the color of there skin look at then and look at us we very different that what they said back then they say they were very different because the color of there skin and the other thing what was the point of them to come to the school if they are use going to start problem and everything in the school but some of other student think that it was ok for those student to come to or school they call those student nigger-lover and I think they did all of those thing to say that we are bigger then them and they should not come up to use and stand up because they know they are going to get heart so they know was best for them.
Well to begin i will just like to say, WHY? Why should we share our school? Why shouldn't we share it what is so bad about it? What might our people will think of us. Our familys if we agree with the fact that we are leting blacks or should our parents might say nigger into our school district. I understand the fact what our people does to them is crul to them we just sit here and enjoy all the good attention. Anybody that is being treated nice wouldnt want to give up. Plus we white folks are to busy think about how might others look at us and not how we look at our self. Lets put our perspectivre out there. Blacks are no different from us just diiferent colors. On the other hand we can be others heros. So i say we should share the school and stop being so scared if someone critize us because that will always happen and always will. So lets except these black students in our school.

I think if I was in the position it will be hard to answer this question. ALL they would know is that they as in African American they do not know nothing just about our skin color and thats it.if i was a person there i would say:Of course they think that they belong here but they don't their skin color is different they look like trash and we look like we got some class unlike them. My name is Earl Perry. I am a part of the white student body and I am participating in a town meeting about the black people coming to be educated in our school. I think they don't deserve to be here, there to dark, and it's just too different! I don't care if there smart enough but believe me there never going to be smarter than anyone in this school. We're always going to be the best, intellegance, color, cloth ALWAYS! It's not right that they come up and go into the school. From what I know and see they ain't even tough and that's the best part. African-American's are just TRASH. Why do they care if they in school anyway. They shouldn;t be able to go to school they're so stupid. They can't handle what we got here. To be fair I think that they should save the embarressment and just not go at all. But it's on. What ever got to go down WILL GO DOWN!!!!
The real reason why African Americans should not be able to attend schools with us because they don't belong with us. they act all different they don't do the same things that we do. they dress different from us. And back to the way they act, every time when I come up to them and say something mean or disrespectful they don't do it back like they should and that really gets on my nerves .cause I want to start a fight with them one day and get them in trouble.

I really don't see their is a point of black people to come to this school. What are they going to do for this school. Those people are out of control. They look funny, their dumb and they are not about nothing. Black people will never thrive in life because they won't go anywhere. Like these blacks students that are out our school now. Let's just see how long it will last. Either they would get kicked out of the school for their behavior. Go to jail because of their behavior. Or get kicked out of the school for not doing anything around here. All i have to say bye to dumb black people.
I think they would listen to perspective 1 because at the time perspective 1 was the thing so of course they would listen what thy would have to say.

I feel like we should let the African American students in the school. The only reason why we are saying don't let them in is because our parents told us slow. I mean how many of us has been told by out parents that "the world is coming to an end they are trying to ruin us." I personally myself see no reason why they shouldn't let in. I have never talked to an African American let alone been harmed by one. I believe that letting them in will be an great experience. I also believe that not letting them in will like be an insult to a whole culture, we don't accept them because of their skin color. I have never spoken my true feelings about the topic because I have always followed the opinions of what my family says. I only follow them because I think that I am a big disappoint to the family and they would to disown me.
If i was in the town meeting to be honest i think all the student wouldn't want to go against the black student the only reason i believe the kids went at it was to fit in they listen to there parents whom i think forced racism on them i believe in the school everything was an act so if i were to be in the room i think they would not be interested in it as they would be if there parents were in the meeting......
No there is no real reason why because i believe even if they did not attend school with us because of what people believe in....

If I was a white student I would have felt bad for the others. I would want them to be on my side and like all colors. Even if there was no parents or whatever I still would of never acted like my friends. There is not a REAL reason that blacks should not attend school with us. They are only black. They still are human. Remember we are 99.9 genetically just alike.

This is not right how these nigga come up in the school we worked hard to get in this schools now that they are coming into the school there are goin to be so many different problems. There might be fights. Threths. Just because these kids see what is happening out side of the street with black and whit. Do you really think that these student can really fouse in a class knowing that there in a nigga in the class.They say that were equal. NO WE ARE NOT look around we are white clean have great homes to go they are dirty smeely and they dont have a good home. They really dont need to have the same education as us. Of course there's a real reason why african american students should not be educated with us. My momma told me that they are very uneducated people and they handle all of they're conflict with violence. They're savages and thats why we need to fight back, so many of our peoples lives are in jeopardy.Well that's what my parents tell me.They dont want to do they're work so why waste time schooling them? And plus what would they become? There may be smart African Americans but I mean really what types of jobs would they be able to apply for?It's a waste of education. of course they shouldn't be going to school with us.
If I was a white student at central high school i would do nothing but sit in my seat. because i would have no problem with the blacks.

The real reason why blacks cant join our school is simply cause there black. We have been doing good by ourselves,and if we let a few blacks in a lot will try to get in. And that will mess up our school,putting our grade averages down.

I would say no there is no reason why the blacks can't attend our school. I would say from white student to white student why shouldn't they. Just because they have color in their skin and we don't their not welcomed. Our parents don't like black people we can't either. Its not right just image you were in their foot steps would you won't people to treat you like trash. What if the blacks was treating us like this would you want them to be doing the same thing to you "NO" you wouldn't. So just think about what your doing to them and how they feel because i know each and everyone of you all have a heart because I know a lot of you and I know what you all are capable of.

If i was in a situation were i would be one of the white students that was protesting. then i will think theres is a real reason why African Americans should not be able to attend school with us. Why because i am educated, i have everything you could one i know how to present myself to a dinner, i am educated unlike these black kids who don't even know how to use proper manners. Another reason why they should be in the same school as us is because my parents told me that i am better than them and should be with people like me not people less than me.
The real reason i act like there should be no african americans in the school with us is because of my family i would put them in shame for acceptaing them blacks as friends or even aqaintices. i would feel threaten at home at all times cause my family could turn on me and make me like the slave of the house. once my dad told me if i had talked to one of those niggers i wouold be treated like one at home i would get whiped for doing anything wrong. But if i had a a choice for letting them in the school i would choose to allow people of diffrent color in my school except for the one that i judge with any rude personality. but other than i feel forced in my household and neighborhood

If i was a white student it would be kind f difficult for me to answer this question. the reason why it would be kind of difficult is because if you think about it all of this complication is about a color. so why would students need to miss out on there education because of there color. so therefore my answer to that the black should still have there education.
