Segregated Schools...Good or Bad? (8E)
Some argue that segregated schools are the best option for black students because they have a chance to learn in schools that cater to their needs. While others feel that ANYTHING segregated is WRONG! Explain what you think about having segregated schools...think about separated schools based on race, gender, language, and orientation...

I believe that segregated schools is not a good idea because who else can we learn more about ethnicity. It will be better if someone in your class can be something different. Also if they begin to have segregated schools then i believe that racism will start all over again.
I don't agree that its best because it will cater to blacks needs, because that means that they are not capable of what whites are and that we need to be taught what they believe we are capable of. Also we you are in an classroom with other nationality you learn more also learn how to react to things you are not use to and you understand how other live and feel. Also you don't just learn about your history you learn about others this my reason of my beleife that segregated schools don't help.
I have 2 perspectives on segregated schools. Based on race, it is a bad thing because I see it as racism. When I was traveling around the world, I see that there are segregated schools. For example, when I was in Australia, there was a Blacks Only class and a Whites only class. Asians can go anywhere. I chose to go to white because it has a better environment. Segregation is still alive in some areas.
My other perspective is that it can be good in a way. Language schools aren't considered racism because it teaches kids in LOTE. This means languages other than English. I don't see LOTE schools in USA. I see them in other multicultural countries such as Australia.
My personal thoughts about segregated schools is that they are bad.I say this because we should all learn about different back rounds,instead of only knowing one.I also think it is bad because school is one of the best time for kinds to interact with each other,and they should be mixed with different cultures.

I think that segregated schools are wrong. If kids are in school to learn why seperate them. Blacks are people to so what is the difference. Everyone is 99.9 percent genetically the same. Whites are people as well so why cant blacks and whites learn together.
I don't think that any schools should be segregated because if we are all equal then why go through all the trouble of segregating schools. Segregation is wrong because even though some say the schools are equal they really were not they just said this all to separate the races. If the schools were segregated then the kids would not learn about each others cultures as much.

i think that itz bad because i think that some people wouldn't be treated the same . thats what i think..
Well I think that segregated schools are not good because i think when your in those types of schools you dont know how to interact with other people and what i mean by that is race,gender,language and orientation.
I THINK THAT HAVING SEGREGATED SCHOOLS ARE NOT GOOD BECAUSE YOU ARE LIMITING BOTH RACES LEARNING EXPERIENCE. ALSO, YOU CAN LERN FROM EVERYONE NOT ONLY YOUR RACE.
I think that segregated schools are wrong thing. I think this because imagine us gong to schools that are far away from where you live only because you are from a specific race or because you talk a language that some people don't talk.

Segregated or diversity schools are still alive in AUS and there is no racism around.
Well some bad people choose to be racists. Some British people come to places such as AUS and USA.
i think that segregated schools are wrong because people should not be apart because of there color, race gender, language and orientation.
