1. Race is a group of people sharing the same culture. Ethnicity is a person belonging to a certain nation. For example black is a race, but if i said I came from Cape Verde that would be my ethnicity.

2. I would choose the African-Americans, they faced a lot of challenges. for hundred of years they had to face with the brutal and inhuman institution of slavery. But even though they was treated badly they made a lot of contributions to America. Like their type of food has been added to the American cuisine. And did you know that three fourths of American professional are African-Americans? they over came a lot of challenges and they was strong.

Race is a general idea of who you are . As if your are black and white. Ethnicity s the real person who you see your self as like dutch, English. I had the Filipino ethnicity a challenge they had was from 1898 they couldn't become an US citizen.

1.) The difference between ethnicity and race is that ethnicity is the whole background of a group of people while race is the many different groups within these ethnic backgrounds.

2.) One ethnic group is hispanic. A challenge they had while here (and 1 they still have) is dealing with poverty and putting up with all of this violence. But something they brought over here are hard working citizens and also some exotic foods that you really cannot find any where else.

Race is if you run against some one. It could also mean your culture. Ethnicity is only have one meaning. Common or natural tradition in your culture.

The Jewish Culture went over a very difficult challenge. They had to leave their homes in a different country. Then had to come to the United States. From Eastern Europe to United States because of political and economic conditions. One of their Challenges were to take up more then 10 percent of the teacher faculty at American Universities.

1.The difference between race and ethnicity is that race is when your being judge by the color of your skin. And being charecterized by people that don't know but think they do. Ethnicity is your background. Not being put in the box, it more than the box it's not just called one type or race it more of a mixture of nations.

2. I read about Japanese Americans and there were about how they had difficulties with americans just like white had difficulty's with blacks and being races. Bu this time they excluded them with a lot of things, like they could be married to white people, they were excluded from some jobs and they couldn't become a U.S citizen of America. And they limited Chinese from coming her into the United States. They were forced to internment camps because of a bombing in Pearl Harbor in December 7, 1941 and they were forced to sell they're businesses at loss, homes, and leave behind some other things to.

the group I'm picking is the Puerto Rican American. the reason why I choice that group is because of there ethnic groups i say that because there would be considered hispacnic or maybe even black i say that because Samuel Morton was putting people in groups based on the size of his/her brain or by the color of there skin color so to it was like what would he thing of people from Spain? one challenge that they had was that urban Puerto rican communities were plauged by such problems as crimes, drugs, unemployment and the breakdown of the traditioal family structure to me i thought that it wasn't fair for people to say that that was one of there challlenges because they stated that president woodrow singed the Jones act which granted the united states citizenships....

1.) The difference between race and ethnicity is that race is your CULTURE and who you are. Ethnicity is your BACK GROUND behind your race.

2.) The ethnic group I choice is Italian Americans the reason I pick this because they had a lot of problems like 600,000 Italian Americans got send to the Untied States after World War 2 most coming after the passage of their immigration act in 1965. Also some of the Italian Americans was arrested during the world war 2 by the government of the Untied States of America.
