Effective Presentations...

Have you ever heard a presentation that "wowed" you...helped you to understand something better....or made you feel powerful?

Take a few minutes and think about a time when you gave a presentation or watched someone present a topic that really interested you.

What makes a GREAT presentation? Give examples and elaborate.....

WHAT MAKE A GREAT PRESENTATION IS A PRESENTATION THAT IS EASY FOR EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND. ALSO, ITS NOT TO LONG OR TO SHORT BECAUSE YOU DO NOT WANT TO MAKE YOUR AUDIENCE NOT AS INTRESTED IN YOUR PRESENTATION.

yes, I have heard some one made a presentation that wowed me. that presentation made me have many mood's during the speech. many thing's could make a strong presentation for example: strong facts, Attatude, Accuracy, context, and truth i think makes a good presentation.

I don't know if you would call this a presentation because it wasn't live but at the end of the Micheal Jackson DVD crystal, Kimberly, their brother and myself watched there was a presentation of poverty in Africa. What made it so great was that it had so much graphic evidence. A great presentation requires something that'll convince. Whether its the results of a poll or a chart, graphic organizers and pictures really do help. It would be even better if there was a live speaker.

no not really i dont think i have. i have not gave a presentation or watched a presentation but a good presentation is to me when you give good facts about the topic your presenting and why your topic is important and why you should be heard

Something that makes a good presentation is the fact that it i never boring at any point. It has you interested at every point and you want to hear what the person is saying.Another thing is that the presenter always seems confident in what he/she is saying. There should also use a lot of eye contact with there crowd to show that they really believe in what they are saying.

a presentation that wowed me and helped me understand something is the movie called "gridiron gang". It made me know that if someone that I am not friends with someone I can end up making up with them in a respectful way. If you are on a team with someone you like that will not work out if you are not friends. You have to be friends with all your teammates if you want to win.

What I think makes a good presentation is. They give really good details and examples but not only giving examples those facts have to be right they can't give us false information just to boost up their grad and make their presentation more interesting i bet a teacher would love a plain and simple poster that got all the facts right then a bright beautiful poster with all the facts wrong just to boost their grade. I also think a great presentation should be nice and organized like you know what you guys are talking about and not jumping all over the place with information confusing the audience. I also think a great presentation means to be prepared not just knowing what you have and all the materials you need but make sure you know everything there is to know about you information because you have to be ready to answer any questions your audience has. The finale thing that i think makes a good presentation is to explain everything on your poster or your presentation don't just read right off the aper and don't explain you don't want to lose your audience.

A presentation that wowed me was...The martin Luther king j.r speech. The reason is because to me it was the most important speeches to ever be said in black history. Also because without that speech black people probably wouldn't have all the rights that they have today.Lastly because the speech was something that thousands of people attended to hear,so it must have been something special.

Amber,

Ugh. Michael Jackson.

Anyway, that is a good way to catch attention of many people. I'm not a fan but he will catch attention of his fans. Anyway the is an effective way for caching attention.

yes i have heard of a presentation that wowed me and help me understand something better but it really wasn't a presentation it was a video about what is happening in north Korea and with the government and everything. what makes a great presentation is that you have done enough research on what you are presenting and know the most important detail on your topic.

Yes I heard a presentation that wowed me, but it didn't make me feel powerful.b The time that really interested me me was on TV when they talking about an blinder machine. In the end my mom end up getting it.
What make a good presentation is when the person has their topic or object and ready to example their topic or object. Like for example the blinder machine, the people was talking about it they showed that the blinder can crunch up food in 3 different ways. Then they showed us how to do it.

I have herd a presentation like that it was on monday during a girls conference. They were talking about the real life and stuff like that. But i think that in order to have a good presentation you have to include your self in it.
