Common Welfare in the World?
Do you think that different nations [governments] around the world should be responsible for keeping citizens in other countriescontent?

Kinda yes but then again no because it's nice to help other countries with what they need and bring peace and happiness to another country besides your own, but then after that you're going to need to help your country because your country's not perfect and it's not the most peaceful country in the world so you're going to need to help out your own country before you help out anybody else's country
i think they should at some times because we are the richest country and we have alot to share so we mind as well be the bigger people and help out some. but we should not help the people that are making troub le for us to get oil,gold,or any goods
No, I don't think that nations should be responsible for other countries content. If a country makes a decision and it leaves them un-resourceful, than that is their problem. Why should other nations have to help them re-think THEIR decisions. Countries making decisions that is going to break them and they know it, should not concern other nation's. If we ten to their needs, then every time something come up they are going to look towards us for resources. In other ways i believe we can make an effort to help because if we were in need they might help. It also depends on the circumstances. In times of natural disasters there is nothing a country can do but sit and watch and maybe die, so it depends on the situation.
Yes, because I think people around the world should be able to go around the world with out a problem.. and help people in need should be able to get help from others around the world because there humans too just like the government is. But then again No, because people need to care about the people in there country and what best for the, and they can't worry about other countries if theres some problems that need to be solved.
I don't think that it's another country's responsibility to take care that country. It should be the united nations responsibility. The country's should be able to take care of their own country. It's not there problem to make citizens of other nations happy when there citizens are not. Before they go and do favors for other citizens when they can't even do them for their own. It's a different story when you go there and destroy their nation. You should but the needs of the people in the united states first. They should help out their country first. I don't think that the united states should be putting the needs of citizens in other country's first because they don't rule their. They should let the leader of that country please their citizens, that's what they was elected for. Same here in the united states we elected the president to but our needs first and satisfy our needs, not go and satisfy somebody else's.
Other nations governments around the world are not responsible for keeping citizens of other countries content. The reason is because each country has its own government and have their own way of ruling. You don't need to keep other countries citizens content unless you owe something to another country and you are in depth with them. For example:(if you bombed a country and you're trying to be nice to them and help them out it's ok, but if you think is your duty to do that, then no.)
I think so because if their citizens they should. It's just like if you have children. If they do good they should be given a reward. That way they could be happy. Also i think that they should be happy because sometimes citizens could be helpful. By volunteering so they deserve to be happy for all their help.

I dont think they should because the other country citizens are not there own nations citizens so its not there responsibility to do that. They can help out and what not but not take control over there country. If they were to do that it, would be a big problem, the reason why is because the government of that country probably think that the U.N is doing something. Im not really sure.
No because that other nation should help other nation if they will not do the same for them. I say this because nations give to other nation and that nation that they give to will not give back. So I say no to this.

I think it's a 50-50 thing we should be responsible for making sure other nations are good to go because were a wealthy nation people look at our government to see what were doing also because we might have our own buniesse and if were not making sure that they nation is not fine then we will be losing our buniesse if there nation fall and then we shouldn't because were not running that nation we didn't pick there government the people did so why should we be responsible.
Yes they should be responsible for making sure that the other citizens are happy with where and how they live. the government need to make sure that they have no wars with other countries. if they do one thing other countries will follow and do good things for there citizens.
Its like I'm in between because i think we should then i don't think we shouldn't be responsible of other nations.The reason why i think we should help out other nations is because that would be very grateful of us to help out other people around the world.Because i know that maybe other nations would maybe help us out to.But then we shouldn't help other nations out because thats not really our governments job to help out other nations.Thats the government job in their own nation to make their citizens happy.
We should under certain situations we should. I feel that if something happens that concerns us, something that we caused to another nation of course we should make sure that we help in rebuild the content of that nation. On the other hand if there is something that is happening that doesn't concern us something that is causing damage to another nation and we're not the cause would shouldn't worry about then.

Yes they should because that means the other nation is being helpful. The world should be helpful because thats how the world runs right. If you get help then you should be fine.
USA should really worry about their own problems. Even though we are developing country we still have needs. But that doesn't mean that when we are solving our problem we shouldn't check and help other nations with the same problem. USA is the wealthiest nation so we shouldnt be greedy
Yes. Some countries do not want to be greedy so they will try to keep other countries in content. Developing countries want to help others but they can't. They try to do it sometimes. Sometimes our government can be greedy and not giving other countries goods. Sometimes we trade stuff. I once read this program in the newspaper. During the Iraqi war, we have an oil shortage. The soldiers developed a program called food-for-oil. They traded things around and they had the program on for a long time. I forgot who boycotted the program. It ended in 2006. People say that it's ridiculous. It no longer exists.
I think you should be open to help other people but your nations comes first before any other nation that needs your help because if you keep running to help other peoples nations and you forget your own then your nation is going to be in distress and you are going to have to find away to appease your country some way some how with all those complaints from you neglecting your nation and helping every one else's nation.
