The Writing Process
What is the most challenging thing about writing an essay? In what ways do YOU overcome these challenges in order to successfully complete your essay?

What was challenging on the essay was when I have to think about what I want to write about and think about what I've done already for my project and I just think about and sometimes it's hard to start a paragraph so that your reader would want to keep reading it.
For me the most challenging thing about writing an essay is coming up with the outline. I would spend so much time just trying to do my outline because i don't know what to be on my first paragraph. What i have been doing every time i have an essay is look at the topic and try to make an web. I can put the topic in the middle and put all the things that i can write about it in around it. Then i try to put all of my informations in an outline and i see what information would be best for my paragraphs. I have to make sure that when i do this i don't repeat some of the information more then once, that's why it is good to do paragraph to paragraph outline.
The most challenging thing about an essay has to be the introduction. It's hard to have the first paragraph in your essay good. You want people to keep on reading on so that's why you want your introduction to make since. What i do to make sure i stay on topic and not to write to much that don't make sense. I try to make everything fit in with what i am talking about. I always want the first paragraph fit into the next. I want to make sure i have lots of detail in my writing like what am i focusing on and whats the point of what i am writing about.
the most challenging thing about writing an essay is thinking of what to write about if you don't know already because you need at least 5 paragraphs for an essay and you can't write one if you don't have a topic.
A way you can overcome this challenge is to think about some topics before hand so you already know what you're going to write about or at least have an idea instead of just trying to think of one with only a few weeks left for the essay due and you still have to research.

The most challenging thing about writing an essay is get all your idea down on paper and than puting them to together. I over these challenges by doing what I had to do on time . If you don't do what you have to do on time than it will be very hard to do at the end .

I THINK IT'S CHALLENGING BECAUSE PEOPLE GET STRESSED OUT WRITING A LOT AND SOMETIMES THEY DON'T HAVE AS MANY IDEAS AS OTHER PEOPLE TO WRITE SO MUCH. BUT I CAN OVERCOME THAT BY TELLING ONE OF MY CLASSMATES TO HELP ME AND GIVE ME SOME EXAMPLES OF THINGS I CAN USE OR WRITE ABOUT. THAT IT'S WHAT I THINK IT'S CHALLENGING DEPENDING WHAT YOU ARE WRITING ABOUT BECAUSE IT'S BASED ON THE TOPIC.
The most stressful thing about writing an essay is research. Research is very stressful if you can't find what you are looking for. There are different search engines and it is hard to choose evidence to support your ideals. You can overcome this but checking out each link to a site, it may get stressful at sometimes but it is helpful to accomplish your goal. Each link will give you different information about the topic, but you just have to sort out what you don't need or want and find what you're looking for.
I have to agree. The introduction is where you have to do multiple things like capture the readers interest-right away and make important statements that connect with the topic paragraphs. Do you think your intro was good? Why?

i think that this essay was very difficult. the most difficult things was being able to get the words out in paper. i really dont have a clue how i can overcome this challenge
There are many challanges like how your going to put your eassy. In what form and more. This eassy is very hard but i came over it by making and using an outline. And also now that we have to revise it and all that it's hard. One good thing about it is that it helps us with the ela. And it helps us with our writing.
The Challenging thing about writing a essay is not knowing what to say. Also not know what should come first , what should come last. You have to write so much and so little time. Trying to get your reader to want to read more about your ESSAY.
Doing outlines help but some times they make it harder because you have so many idea and you cant pick them all.

The most challenging things about writing an essay is just writing the essay(Nosa) it's just putting all the information that you have in your web or what ever in to paragraphs, and just getting it organized that is the hardest parts in the writing, but for me personally the hardest paring in writing an essay is that when I write I have run on senteces, and I am soard of off topic at times and i use slang. the way i think i can over come these challenges is by maybe getting more practice.

Yes, they did help me but i couldn't understand most of it because it came from wikipedia.com and they tend to not elaborate on what they mean. I found it helpful in some cases although they I didn't understand most things
Geguel their is more challenging things in writing an essay you need the information the detail to back it up and you want your reader to be able to visualize your work.
The most challenging thing about writing an essay is that you have to do it in a certain amount of time.And you have to keep checking over again for spelling and grammar see if the lines make sense.The way I overcome these challenges is by taking my time when I'm typing I should watch how I type when I am doing an essay because I can mess up if I am rushing.
The thing about an essay is the topic that you write about has to interest you and has to be a topic that you can almost like brag about. Then another challenge would have to be that sometimes when you write you can possibly go off topic and start writing about something that has no connection to your original main topic. Well when I feel that I can not stay on task with my topic I try to pick out facts and/or opinions about the topic to make it more interesting so the reader can be engrossed with my essay and give me a good feed back. In tis case there was nothing to bored about. The whole experience has been great some hills to go over and bumps in the roads but we made it through. My group was fun to work with even though we didn't agree totally about everything but hey that's what's working in a group all about working through the hard times. So next time you write an essay make sure it is a topic that you can stick with the main topic and make sure your essay is interesting. We do not want the reader to fall asleep not a good essay if you can not keep readers interested. Hey and once you get use to writing an 5 paragraph essay it will become an easy thing to do! A easy breeze, a piece of cake yummy piece of cake cheese cake.

I think my introduction is good but it's hard to have the introduction with detail because you don't want to put so much in the first paragraph.
