The song is protesting about injustice because the government is taking away trees from the neighborhood for no reason. The lyrics that stand out to me are "They took all the trees
And put them in a tree museum"
That ling answered this Do Now question and i think that it is the most powerful sentence in the lyrics.

I also think that they are taking trees away from the rural area.
When Ms. Jackson told us about this urban and rural area thing, the rural areas are getting taken away and urban areas are getting bigger.

I dont know what this is really protesting perhaps it's sending a personal message. The saying you dont know what you got until it's gone. There was a part where it said they took all the trees and they took his old man maybe he's referring to people taking everything he's got.His once perfect world being affected ny others.

Randy how do you know the artist is referring to the urban areas because most rural areas dont have trees.

This song is basically taking about how its unfair that they are cutting down trees. Its basically saying that they should not cut trees down just to put in some places like the museums they should let them be.

The lyrics to me means that you should cherish what you have at all times.Because once its gone you wont know how much you really loved it.Also the lyrics is comparing having to lose someone to having to losing trees or even a space that is turned into a parking lot.And i do think that it will be effective to others.

THA ISSUE THAT THE LYRICS IS EXPRESSING IS THAT YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH SOMETHING HAS MADE DIFFERANCE UNTIL IT IS GONE.
THE PART OF THE LYRICS THAT STANDOUT ME IS THE PART IN THE PART THAT SAYS YOU DON'T KNOW UNTIL IT IS GONE.
NO I DON'T THINK IT WOULD EFFECT ANY ONE IF SOMEONE WOULD LISTEN TO IT.

No this would not make no affect because to me it dont make no sense

IT protest about freedom because they are making trees go away. it is trying to stop the cutting down trees. It might effect because trees is made out of a lot of things. I hope it will effect it.

The issue that the lyrics is expressing is that you should know how much something has made the difference until everything is gone away.i don't think this song will make effect because no body is going to change only cause of a song.
